What do you think, and would you like him to do so?
I very much would like to see DC lending both his voice and likeness, but seeing that he wasn't, at start, interested playing the english secret agent on silver screen, I have very little confidence on him, for lending either of his voice or likeness. At the moment, it looks very much something, that would be out of his character.
But, maybe if the deal would involve a handsome sum of money. Or whatever tactic worked on Brosnan, and especially on Connery. (Being it a large sum of money, or Connery wanting the audience's, especially new, to personally (re)live one of his first and most celebrated adventures)

I care about the likeness more than the voice though.

If you ask me,we could have seen some interesting Bond adventures.
But they could still do adventure games like that. Now that we have Craig.
And who's there to say, if Craig goes all Rambo in the next few movies ?

If Bond 22 is being adapted, although already experienced field operative, Bond is still a young 00 agent, and the emphasis can be on fighting techniques and takedowns through training etc.
The action being more man on man, predatory would suit me. The all out fire fights should only occur if Bond is discovered, and this causes mission fail perhaps. The man is a secret agent afterall, and not a one man terminator.
I hope the next game is in that vein.

I really don't want another FPS Bond game, for the simple reason that Bond does a LOT more than just shoot people and throw grenades, etc. If you look at all the films, he usually only shoots about five people and even at that, you can guarantee that two of those five weren't even with the PPK/P99.
Having not played Goldeneye, but having played TWINE, NightFire and GE: Rogue Agent, EoN is my absolute favourite Bond game. Every level is exciting and brilliant. By the time I reached the skydiving level, I realised that in spite of the silliness, I was having as much fun as I had had playing GTA: San Andreas.
Obviouly a Craig-game based around gadgets and silliness won't work, so I wager we go for a more serious, Splinter Cell-meets Max Payne type game. FRWL was a fairly good 'serious' Bond game, even if it had some gadgets. The problem with FRWL was that it didn't have enough levels and diversity and it grew repetitive and too easy. In Craig's game, I want a complex combat and shooting system (the system in FRWL was PERFECT, IMO). I also think driving levels would be a treat, obviously refraining from the usual 'car combat' we get in Bond games (which is good, but I want something more realistic this time).
There is also no reason why Craig's Bond shouldn't have gadgets. Just make sure that they are realistic, useful, practical gadgets that are used in real life (like the gadgets in Splinter Cell, etc) and aren't just put in for laughs or a 'wow' factor. The days of laser watches, cell-phone stunners and miniature, portable, remote-controlled, self-destructable helicopters should be a thing of the past.

I agree although it was a little weird seeing Brosnan on the screen in Agent Under Fire with someone else's voice (but I got over it quickly).I care about the likeness more than the voice though.

This would make a lot of sense to me because a lot of the time when they adapt a film to a video game they have to add a lot of "filler" material as a 2 hour movie doesn't provide enough content for a 10 hour + game.

But after playing through my first Hitman game ever, I thought the next developer for bond games(see above) could approach the bond games in a similar manner. It was more bondian, than any splinter cell games. Although I have to confess that I've only played the first Splinter Cell.
But Hitman really had the feel of you, the player, being an assasin/master of disguises, who is send to missions to eliminate bad people. This could work with James Bond too. It could be a part of it at least. But seeing Hitman was more of working your way to your target, under the watcful eyes of civilians and foes, without alerting them of your presense, and the reason why you're there, than running and shooting. (although you could do that as well) All the missions were more or less undercover missions, where you had to disguise yourself as someone else, and then work your way through the enemy lines.
It could work with Bond.
Then they could add some detective work to the game, which would make it all more interesting. That and a full amount of espionage.
But the point of my post was; less shooting, more intriguing undercover mission and adventure game elements, with all the detective work, a secret agent would have to perform on his/her mission.
Character interaction in small doses would be a good thing too.

The new Bond and a new game in one product? It would have the action and style like in CR.
I hope Activison will do a great job, I'm waiting for it since EA cancelled the CR game.

Controlling a third person Craig (hopefully) with clothing selections ala FRWL, voice supplied by Craig, free roam with vehicles etc.. the very idea is exciting. Bring it on.
