Click that and saves as. Or just click and watch. Its a quicktime file. Youtube is being dumb right now and stalling on me. But it should come around some time.

Sorry for the humming noise.

Thanks for doing that.

As for the scene itself... I'm not totally sold on it, though I'm not sure why... it's a bit too slick looking, with too many show off long shots. Still, nice to see proper stunt work, and it will be a hell of a lot more impressive on the big screen.

brilliant effort cowboy funk. the sequence looks fantastic and the scenery very cool. there is no inevitability at all with the chase thats what i seem to like from it whereas the other sequences from some bond films always seem bit predicatble and decorated too much with gadgets etc to emphasise the action whereas this seems to keep going and going...score assisted wonderfully in setting the mood of the chase too!

The longshots don't bother me... of course they're going to look a little weird when you're watching a tiny window on your computer screen. Should look great on the big screen.

Yeah I just watched it a few more times... it really will look fantastic on the big screen. And I love the way he chucks that gun back at him!

"Quite revealing." Even though I've been reading spoilers like there's no tomorrow, this really felt like too much. They should save some stuff for the movie.

I thought that too. But just imagine what they've kept to themselves. I'm betting this movie is full of this good stuff, and thats why Daniel Craig was willing to do it

I've been quite impressed with the cinematography since seeing the final trailer. It looks very modern without being too modern.

im abit confused about the cinematography.. it looks bold, colorful and classic in the trailers ( aside from the raw b/w footage which looks suitably sinister, jagged and neo noir kinda feel) .. but then in the sony promo and cornell video it has an extraordinary dark sheen on it..ultra stylish.. deep blacks, silvery and atmsopheric..

i hope this isnt just simply recoloured to suit the sombre video..cos i think it looks awesome.. maybe we will see some of these rich dark tones in the interiors.. but some of the action looks gloriously bright and vital - almost a deliberate contrast to the gritty dark stuff we know is in there..maybe they are playing these big stunts like the crane chase for all their bright fun glory so we can then plunge into the dark miami sequence..the rich golden casino, and the turmoil thereafter..finally settling for a beautiful classic palette in venice. compare the gritty footage of madagascar with the bahamas stuff.. i cant tell what the final film will feel like!

i think they are going to be very sophisticated about this movie.. it certainly seems that way in the look of it.

I found the scene to be a bit of a disappointment. The hand-to-hand combat stuff was excellent, but it was all ruined for me while watching the guy jumping off the crane and off the building. That part just looked too cartoonish and looked like something that belongs in a Spiderman film.

So much for going back to Fleming. :)

Hey now, let's be fair. Maybe the crane is made out of gunmetal. :P

But seriously, I find what I've seen plausible enough to still enjoy in the relatively "realistic" context of the story. Bond movies have long had to appeal to action fans (and I'm one of them), but I don't think that has to mean clashing with the plot, and in this case I think it could even mesh very well with it.

I think that they would have been better off reworking that entire scene so that it didn't have any shots of whoever the guy Bond is chasing jumping from ridiculous heights. It looked ridiculous in the trailer, and it looks ridiculous in the actual footage from the film. If all of the action in CR is like this, it'll be lucky if it's better than DAD.

I had hoped that I'd be paying money to see a Bond movie on November 17, not a Bond vs. Spiderman film.

To each his own, tdalton. But I've a feeling this will easily be the most outlandish part of the movie. Even the rest of the chase (at least the jungle and building shots I've seen) seems fairly down-to-earth and believable, not to mention exciting. So in the grand scheme of things, a cartoonish bit might be forgivable.

I hope you're right regarding it being the most outlandish part of the film. On the bright side, at least they didn't show us a clip of an invisible car. :)

But, to be fair, I have been against the whole free-running sequence from the moment I saw the teaser trailer, so it's not as if I was surprised that I didn't like this clip. I guess I had just hoped that they would cut back on his jumping around a bit. But, Craig catching the gun and throwing it back at him was great. :P

Well, I would have an issue with it if it wasn't done for *real*. But seeing as I've seen that done in real life elsewhere and now here, it doesn't particularly phase me - if anything, it makes my jaw drop.

And I'm 100% sure that's the most outlandish moment of the film.
