The Brush in LALD

I maybe slow but I think I've just twigged onto something. When Bond introduces Quarrel Junior to Rosie Carver on the boat (Eliott's long distant cousin? ) with: "meet the man who shares my hairbrush", is this a reference to who he signals to in the bungalow earlier on?
It looks like a hair brush with an antenna, but I thought it may have been a clothes brush at first.

You know I never even thought about that before, thats clever.

I of course heard that line in LALD but had never made the connection. I thought it was just Moore being silly and flippant!

But LALD was on TV yesterday. Did anyone notice that:
In the hotel scene, he leaves the cigar in the bathroom after killing the snake, but has it in his hands again it just seconds later to make Rosie drop the gun...
