I haven't seen anything like this yet, so I guess I'll start it off.

What track fits over what part of the film? I'm not sure about all of them, so any help is appreciated.


SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT.


African Rundown (6:52)-I doubt theirs any question that this is the snake/mongoose fight and parkour chase bit.

Nothing Sinister (1:27)-Most likely the first time we meet Le Chiffre. I'm not exactly sure when that is though, since I haven't read the script.

Unauthorised Access (1:08)-Hm, when Bond breaks into M's apartment?

Blunt Instrument (2:22)-I have not clue about this one...

CCTV (1:30)...and just about as much on this one.

Solange (0:59)-Obviously the beach scene, when Bond rises out of the water and Solange comes riding up and... well, you know.

Trip Aces (2:06)-This is another one I'm not sure about, bet to a script reader its as clear as day though.

Miami International (12:43)-Pretty much self explanatory. The action piece set at Miami International Airport.

No, this is the *second* time we see Le Chiffre, during a poker game aboard his yacht.

Yup.

Blunt Instrument (2:22)-I have not clue about this one...

This cue covers the tail end of the M/Bond conversation, and then with the triumphant "You Know My Name" fanfare covers Bond's arrival in Nassau on a seaplane.

CCTV (1:30)...and just about as much on this one.

This is Bond breaking into the security offices of the One and Only Country club.

Trip Aces (2:06)-This is another one I'm not sure about, bet to a script reader its as clear as day though.

Dimitrios and Bond play poker and Bond wins Dimitrios' Aston DB5.

I'm The Money (0:27)(?)-I'll just put a question mark on this one.

Bond and Vesper meet for the first time on board the train.

Aston Montenegro (1:03)-When Bond arrives at Montenegro, and gets his new Aston Martin, I presume.

Yup.

Dinner Jackets (1:52)Could be the Bond/Vesper dinner? Could be when he first dons a, well, dinner jacket.

Nope. It's some banter between Bond and Vesper, and when she gives him a new dinner jacket she bought him, which is even better fitted than the one he already had ("There are dinner jackets and there are dinner jackets"). He then dons the dinner jacket and rolls on over to the casino.

The Tell (3:23)-(?)Here's another one.

A bit during the poker game.

Vesper (1:44)-When Bond and Vesper first meet? Probably used more throughout the film.

This is that shower moment from the trailer.

The Bad Die Young (1:18)-The torture scene? The end of Le Chiffre?

The latter, I believe.

The Switch (5:07)-The scene in the large, crowded square?

Yup.

The Bitch is Dead (1:05)-If it goes like the book, this ques up right after the previous track.

It doesn't go precisely like the book (this is a Bond/M conversation), though this scene follows right after Vesper's death scene.

You're forgetting that the cue also covers Bond's landing in the Bahamas.

The Bitch is Dead (1:05)-Bond confirms Vesper's death.

I wouldn't call it confirming. A better description would be, "Bond discusses Vesper's death with M."

Ok, so is this the complete rundown:

Actually there is no such track on the CD. The pretitles will feature no score.

That or the track just isn't on the soundtrack.



My guesses: (not in any particular order_



Trip Aces might actually be used in both the card game and the scene at the museum, it fits in with the latter as well.



Blunt Instrument, as Harms said would go over the M - Bond conversation before cutting to Bond's arrival in the Bahamas with the triumphant version of You Know My Name.



Vesper's theme, obviously goes over the shower scene, (that would be the piano bit with some of the strings) I suspect other parts would play in the scenes of them recovering.



I'm the Money -- Obviously on the train, I actually imagine this in my head as coming after the line: in a sweeping shot of the train and that cuts a shot where the camera walks through a door and then goes to Bond and Vesper dining together on the train as the music fades.



Aston Montenegro -- Bond and Vesper driving through Montenegro in the DBS to the reception for the tournament (and lunch with Mathis), probably could play during their drive in the taxi to the hotel.
