For those that have read the script. I have a curiousity point about the pre-title sequence. I know it's b/w and shows Bond getting his first two kills - the rather messy killing of the guy in the bathroom and the more clinical asassination of the man in the office. I was just wondering how the two incidents are presented. One after the other? Or do we intercut between the two?

The two are intercut, the first messy kill is shown in parts while Bond is talking to Dryden (his 2nd kill).

I won't give too much away because I don't know how much you want to know but basically, at the end of the PTS, Bond kills Dryden and then we flasback to Fisher (the first) which is where we get the gunbarrel from.

Is that enough? :)

I dunno about the pretitles sequence, I'm not too fond of the The Spy Who Loved Me homage. Was it really necessary to have Bond jump out of Dryden's window and parachute down?

Only kidding of course :)

It reads quite good. I'm sure they'll pull it off ok, the example you site isnt exactly the same. Think of it like this, as Bond talks to Dryden we flasback to the fight in the bathroom.

As in the trailer ???

"To become a 00 it takes..."

"Two"

(Bond punches Fisher)

Then...

"The 2nd is..."
"Yes, considerably"

(Gunbarrel/Titles/You Know My Name)

???

To be honest, I hate the idea with B&W and flashbacks.

But anyway, now I can spend 7-8 more minutes to find a really good parking place, and buy my popcorn.

Why? Personally, I think it's shaping up to be one of the film's coolest sequences.

Yeah, I agree with you, Harmsway. God forbid they break convention and experiment with juxtaposition in a Bond flick.

I agree. That will probably be my favorite part!!!

Then again, I haven't read the script. And I don't plan on it either.

Well I have a question also... How are they are going to lead right into the pre-title sequence?

Is it going to show MGM's Lion roaring signature and then go right into the pre-title sequence?

MGM roaring lion, and then a fade onto the exterior of a car pulling up outside Danube House in Prague with snow on the ground.
