I tell ya, when I saw that advert I thought that music sounded a lot like David Arnold's work. And it's missed a bit off the start of the ad: the Focus rolls on screen and then it turns and its headlights alight with luminous brilliance as the gunbarrel envelopes it. FACT.

When did that appear on tv? I ve been scanning ads on every bloody channel for the past ten days in anticipation of the CR marketing machine kicking into steam and yet somebody beats me to it!

Hadn't see that before (but then again I don't currently have a TV) - think there's only one shot of the Ford Mondeo that's actually from the movie, and one other new clip that hasn't been seen previously (of Bond throwing the chips onto the poker table). All good publicity though.

Hmm that version sounded vaguely familiar to me, but either way I would guess that it's probably not Arnold, especially as...

Well, it's a Focus at the end but not in the driving shots; that's a Mondeo.

Just caught the last few seconds of a Bond/Ford ad on French TV (TF1) which was very similar to this one... but it had scenes from lots of old Bond movies. Little Nellie, Q-Boat, the double-decker bus from LALD.

They advertised the Fiesta with that one.
