can people stop bashin on about craig not being good looking not fitting within the tall dark handsome mould. why does bond HAVE to fit within this category...Fleming didnt say so and we've had tall dark handsome since Connery (bar Moore) to Brosnan days and not everytime has it been a success so lets think outside the box and ask if we're going to talk about Craigs look...does he look like Bond i.e. a killer, cold and brutal at that but also fallible. from th trailer and every still published no one can say DC does not look Bond. If you see some of the intensity in his acting and face it is obvious we are getting something deeper and with more meaning beyond the boring tall dark handsome package we already know about. i would love to see all the Bonds look as deep and emotive as DC can..even Connery would struggle and if i saw Brosnan trying to look ruthless i would probably burst out laughing, he cant do it!

cant people see from all the stills we have of DC and from the trailer that he looks like a Bond that we can relate to and how DC is the best man to show us how he becomes the man he is. Plus, on the attractive thing...il sell my house if any of us lot could bag sienna miller or kate moss

harkin...what a find. earlier today seeing bond hung from someones post from the book but this picture shows dark and gruesome this scene will be! great find buddy...im crossing my legs looking at th pic..i can feeel pain sitting comfortably at my computer...look at DCs grimmace!

OMG, the torture scene is gonna be insane. Wow, I am officially impressed at the dedication to Fleming.

Couldn't agree more with Fletch's post. It sums up everything that Bond fans that don't care for the abrupt change in look and height for Bond.

I'm glad there are so many here that are just overjoyed at DC as Bond. It's your day, come November. But for some of us, it seems a turning point in a series/character that may never recover (if DC is accepted for 3 movies, can they ever go back to someone like Connery? Tall, dark, handsome? Or will that all be gone and Bond will be known as a bloke that's short, ultra buff, spikey haired and at best, average looking? To some, that's very sad).

I LOVE the fact that they're making Bond tough again. Much needed. That's a return to Connery's Bond. But the rest, including his very small size which I can't get past in the trailer. When DC makes the rounds on the talk show circuit, it will be interesting. Leno, Letterman and Conan are all very tall. James Bond 2007 will look very small.

Nothing against shorter men, by all means - just casting them as "tall" guys seems a bit perculiar.

Just my opinion. I know many look forward to the change.

Um, I think he's 6'. Fleming didn't need Bond to be any taller. Connery just set the standard.
