Of course, Amy would need to become a twenty-something socialite and Vendetta would need to be in her twenties too, Jana might not be quite as creepy though since in the novel she verges on paedophilic.
But I wouldn't say a definite no to the idea, I'd give the concept a wait and see.
Partly because I want to see Christopher Lee play Count Ugo Carnifex and think that Navi Rawat would make a great Vendetta.

I agree with, terminus. It isn't the worst idea in the world.Y'know, I don't think the idea is as bad as it sounds, personally Bloodfever was quite a Flemming-esque novel at times, and with the same writing team as Casino Royale, could turn out to be a brilliant novel.

But I would rather see the Young Bond book done on their own, in period, as written. I think these would make terrific films (or TV) with their own look and style. Not that I'd want them to replace the adult Bond films. The two can co-exist, like Young Indy. Unless you pesky timeline/chronology freaks get involved.

Good to see there's some Young Indy fans out there as well. Was one of my favorite shows growing up. Had a huge impact on me and inspired my love of History. When the Young Indy episodes were packaged together as films I was only able to get "Treasure of the Peacocks Eye" which came with the Indy Trilogy VHS set and "Daredevils of the Desert" which co-starred Daniel Craig and an unknown Catherine Zeta Jones. It's actually a really great film.
I'm just waiting for those Young Indy DVDs to come out.

George Lucas is probably working out how many more changes he can make to the episodes before he releases them!

They keep talking about them... They say each disc will contain a documentary about famous persons or events in the episode. Sounds great. But my fear is he's waiting for Indy IV to release them...which means we'll never see them.I'm just waiting for those Young Indy DVDs to come out.
