When you read the CR script what quote stood out for you the most?

My favories are:
"Sorry that last hand, nearly killed me!" and "so you want me to become half monk, half hitman" - both spoken by Bond

My favourite line wasn't a piece of dialogue, but description. I recall the line reading something like "M hangs up the phone, knowing that she just sacrificed a man to make a spy, and for a brief moment, she isn't very pleased with herself."

I love that bit about the spy borne from a man bit.

I also find the whole of the first exchange between Bond and Vesper is very, very well written and should play out quite nicely on-screen.

Just wanted to say 'thanks' to those who are commenting without disclosing actual dialogue. I haven't read the script and don't want to know every little detail before seeing the film, but I can't help being drawn to spoiler threads, if only to see what the opinions are of those who have gotten down to the details.

These "minimum-security" spoiler threads are perfect for me.

Know what you're saying.

There's plenty stuff here to keep me salivating anyway.

Gotta agree with Tuxedo. Bond little "quip" to Dryden's last words are almost chilling.

When Bond is talking to M after the Parkour chase.

Spoiler

:) Too funny!

I think that whole conversation with M will be the best in the series, hands down.

Lol Matt_13! Loved that one reading it.

I think the very last line will be the one that remains with people after they leave the theatre but I think the initial Dryden conversation is really good. Bond knows he's gonna kill this guy and he talks to him in a very menacing way. The ending of the exchange - very dark.

I love Mathis' character.

My fav (Highlight to read):

Mathis

So I decided it was cheaper to
supply his deputy with evidence
that we were bribing the Chief.
It's amazing what you can do with
Photoshop these days, isn't it?

(Quite dependent on the scene though)

I like the whole introduction scene between Vesper and Bond culminating in Bond confirming his reservation at the Hotel Splendide, and showing his total disregard for using a cover in the spy industry.

The whole train sequence with Bond and Vesper is an example for perfect dialogue: snappy, witty and revealing character.

Indeed it is. Ever since I first read the script several months ago, this has been one of my favourite sequences from the entire movie. I'm really hoping that Craig and Green do it justice. It's beautifully written.

I think its Craig and Green what will bring all the power and energy to that scene :P, if I heard Brosnan deliver the dialouge in that scene i'm sorry but i'll just burst out laughing :)

This isn't in the script, but it's in the final film, and I love it:

"You've had your ten."

Terrific DR. NO throwback, if you ask me.

I thought it was: "You've had your nine"? No?

One of my favorites is from the tortue sequence:

"Now you can tell all your friends you died scratching my balls."

It's incredibly vulgar, and I believe Harmsway really dislikes it, but I love it. Shows Bond's defiant nature, even in the face of death.
