Read somewhere recently that Le Chiffre's yacht will be the high speed motor yacht built by Wally/Wally Power. Does anyone know if this info is correct? One of their yachts was shown on an installment of Top Gear, the one with Richard Hammond and the Pagani Zonda I recall.

I think the boat concerned is the 118 Wallypower.

Mr Rendle, sir, you have read the script I believe......is my info correct? If not, can you shed any light on the subject?

The script draft that has been read by a few members of these boards is not specific about the type of yacht that Le Chiffre has. I guess that the writers decide that they want to set a specific scene on a yacht, and then it is someone else's job to specify the brand used in the movie.

That yacht looks very Bondian. Almost too Bondian. All those edges make it resemble the stealth boat. I wonder if people will think it's a made up boat - fantastical?

The script and various report have indicated that the yacht would be a Sunseeker. Still it is a cool looking yacht. If it's not Le Chiffre's yacht or in this film it should be.

Ah just noticed that the script does indeed say that Le Chiffre's yacht is a Sun Seeker. To be honest I'd prefer a normal yacht to this high-speed motor yacht. I couldn't really imagine Le Chiffre playing aboard this one, it resembles the TND stealth ship too much for my liking.

Good. This one looks cool, but I'd prefer a more traditional look.

Thanks for clearing that up guys. Sunseekers are quite something to behold. The envy of most other marina users, something else to aspire to!

Here is the press release that confirms the Predator 108.

http://www.bymnews.c.../view/29701/56/

The one in the video.
:)

The white motoryhacht that Agent 76 posted above, is the Predator 82.

You can see both on the same link under “Performance Motoryachts”:-

Remids me a little of the Disco Vilante :)

Functionally, that's a more than fair comparison since it has dual powertrains. The primary engines are standard marine diesels, for cruising; but those two pods on the side in the stern house the air intakes for the high speed gas turbines (two if memory serves).

I do not know if the exhausts are set up for providing thrust as well, or if they simply drive the propellers in the water.

The Predator 108 is very Bondian. I think they made an excellent choice.

It is Bondian, Harrods window has a mock up of the inside of the yacht and also a scale model as you go in through the side entrance.

This looks like the one displayed in Michael Bay's "The Island."

I doubt the EON would've go for "sloppy seconds."
