[Daniel Craig the cool 007]

I was in Mauritius four month back to check out the spot and it is really a great locale foe Bond to visit...Daniel would look quite in his element there as i can picture him walking in some of the spots as James Bond...It would be like thunderball with all the wonderful beaches and great nightlife there in Grande bay(i think its called)... Guys you should check it out asap....Maybe Dubai would also be a great locale for bond?cheers!

I've been to the Maldives, also very beautiful.


But actually - these are much to similar to the Bahamas in CR. Bond 22 will be a cold climate Bond, I think. Hmmm...maybe the Middle East-Russia.

Although, I would still like to see him in Australia, just so I can go and see them filming!!!

Yeah they probably shouldn't do another 'exotic beach' locale so soon after CR. Perhaps Bond 22 will have Craig's obligatory ski chase

LOL - yes, I wouldn't mind that, especially if he was in the French alps or Switzerland.

I don't think Bond's been to Scandinavia in the films, has he? We could get a new locale for Bond to visit that would contrast the hot Bahamas, Miami and Madagascar that Casino Royale will feature. Not just that, but we can get a really ripping ski chase. Hopefully better than the one featured in The World is not Enough; I found it to be lacking.

Maybe for Bond 23 seeing as we go to two tropical locales in CR. It is beautiful though. I agree with Dubai and perhaps maybe a trip to Indonesia.

As someone who lives in Dubai, I would say no to it as a location for a Bond film. It's cheap, tacky, a bit like Benidorm just with more money.

Yeah - Norway can look quite spectacular with all the fjords and central Stockholm looks quite lovely. As does Copenhagen. All new locations for Bond.

I agree, and I think that Bond 22 will be more of a cold climate Bond.

I prefer the warm climates. We had snow in the last 4 Bonds. Craig looks better with a tan anyway. Mauritius is an incredible island. I have been there and also to La Reunion island where my family has property holdings. It is a French department, yet very exotic.

There should be at the very least one tropical setting in every Bond film complete with a bikini clad hottie!

For me, they haven't quite done a proper cold climate scene in a while. The Iceland scenes in DAD were just embarrassing with all that fake snow around the Ice Palace. I really fancy some proper open vistas and a tense chase on snow mobiles or something like that.

Mauritius is renowned as a beautiful world location, but I can't really see it as a Bond location, no matter how tropical. The difference between Mauritius and Jamaica is that, while both are tropical islands, the latter is more known for intrigue and other underworldly goings on. Mauritius just seems like a holiday spot, and really not important or strategic enough a location on the world map for anyone to either set up a villainous base there or to use it to conduct illegal activities. It would seem like a stretch - like Mauritius was just used because of the scenery but not because there's anything really significant about it.

Surely somewhere colder like Eastern Europe, or Russia is next? With a middle East finale? I think we could see something similar to TLD.

However, from a biased point of view, because I live here, would love to see Bond come to Sydney!!!

I remember them saying nixed using Sydney for a while when it was found out Mission Impossible 2 would be going there. By the time Bond 22 comes out, it will have been 8 years since MI:II was released, I think it's time a spy went back to Australia

Would also love to see a action sequence set in the Mid-East (only if they could keep it from being topical though).

Yes, JimmyBond, you are right. I always thought that MI2 spoiled the chances of Bond being here in Sydney (although at the time I was living in London anyway so didn't really care).

Yes, I would like to see a Middle East finale, but as you say, it would have to stay away from the politics. Afghanistan and Iraq both have British troops in them, and so there is a connection for Bond, but it is a bit too sensitive - right now anyway.
