Can we have some classical music?

For example, THE SPY WHO LOVED ME, with Stromberg's affection for classical music. That's terrific. Or when Drax plays Chopin on the piano in MOONRAKER. Or when Bond is at the orchestra concert at the beginning of THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS. Can we have some more moments like that in the franchise?
I would love to see a sequence involving an opera/classical music performance or at least opera music in the background? Perhaps there could be some sort of brutal fight scene with opera in the background, so there's a nice dichotomy between the violence and the lush music? It's just a thought.

I was thinking the other day that there's one thing I miss from the Bond franchise as of late, and that is the use of classical music throughout. I've always loved it when classical music makes appearance in Bond films (or films period), whether opera or anything of the sort. I always feel it adds a touch of class to a film.

Depends on the opera. Rigoletto, yes. Aida - very no.

Recent Bonds have definitely missed that classy/lush atmosphere... think of that cheap looking casino in TWINE. Music helps create that atmosphere.

Apart from that, I 'd love to have classical music performed inside the film. In a fan fiction story I 've written (not posted here), Bond is having a fight backstage at the Scalla in Milan, during the performance of the last act of Mozart's Don Giovanni, the scene where Don Giovanni descends into Hell- a powerful piece of music, very dramatic, and, of course, don't forget that Don Giovanni could be described as the "operatic James Bond". If the audience realise the connection, good, if not, it still doesn't matter, this piece of music could definitely add to a dramatic action sequence.

I like this idea, paticularly as a lover of the moment Stromberg's window panels rise up.
That's great stuff!

Not really sure whether I would personally like to see operatic music over a fight scene, but I certainly wouldn't complain about Bond paying a visit to the opera or a classical music performance again. Like it has been observed, it would add a touch of class to the movie.

I would also like like some classical tune on the next 007flick as it brings a sense of cool and familiarity to the movie....Very catchy one
