After a 'little' delay, CBn's 6th anniversary layout update is here!

We're still looking for little quirks here and there - so if you spot any - please let us know.

Hope you all like it :)

Once we're sure all is good with the home page, we'll enable the design for the rest of the site.

It came as a bit of a shock! I like the count down and the calendar. Will probably take some getting used to though.

I wasn't aware that 6 years was the "Blood Anniversary," but it looks nice.

Bloody well done.

Looks great, but what happened to the RSS?

I tried to add CBn's feed (its new URL) to my site and it doesn't function correctly.

http://www.bondmovies.com/ (right sidebar)

and

http://www.bondmovies.com/newswire.php

Why go through Feedburner for your feeds? Is there any way you could leave your old RSS newsfeed URL up as well?

Thanks...

Fabulous. You didn't overdo it. A lot of redesigns, you wonder if you're still at the same site. You kept it recognizable, but made it a little slicker, a little sharper, a little more eye-catching. Great work!

This was a pleasant surprise. I usually check CBn once in the morning and again in the afternoon and I came back today to find a redesigned main page complete with the blood motif, calendar, revised news section and the CR countdown.

Nice work, team. :)

I like it a lot. The calendar is more functional, and it's nice to have it alongside the headlines. The countdown is also a very useful touch. However, I do wonder if the blood effect would look better as a fixed background, same as we have now for the forums.

But in any case, :)

We had much better plans for the blood in the background, but unfortunately, because Internet Explorer 6 is the browser used by the majority of our visitors, we had to use something basic :)
