When you first got the chance to get the script (I am not asking where or how) what were your first thoughts.

I had to think before I got it, did I want to spoil it for myself? But then I thought, I would go mad with all these rumours, stories, misinformation etc. if I didn't read it, and well - It's Casino Royale - how can I say no?

You?

I was a little apprehensive at first when I was offered the script out of the blue (I swear, I was that lucky). But I figured I already knew a lot of the spoilers so reading the whole thing wouldnt hurt.

And it didnt, it's actually made me anticipate the film even more :)

I can say that I wanted it more than anyone else or actually I never wanted it, I just wanted to know how Carlos and Dimitrios bit the duat and was there an explosion in the Miami sequence, instead I was offered the entire script. I jumped at it and I got it. I had spoiled myself before for other films including DAD(I read the novelization before I saw it) so why not this one. I consider myself lucky. Infact....well maybe later i.e a few months after CR comes I'll tell everyone the story. :)

Unlike some of you others, I actively sought out the script because I had heard such good things about it. I get as much (if not more) pleasure out of seeing spy shots of filming being done and then trying to fit them into the script. I like being able to relate to how the film is coming together. Because I read the spoiler forum, I was getting odd bits of information, so I didn't think it would be much worse to read the script itself. Also, having an earlier draft of the script will be a good memento of CASINO ROYALE. I'll be able to see what changes were made by the time of the final movie. Overall, I'm happy I read the script and don't think it will limit my enjoyment of the movie.

Is there any way "we" who are not in the know, can get hold of the Casino Royale script?

I would love to read it. At least then I might be able to agree on somethings with JimmyBond and Harmsway then. :)

Best

Andy

I just wanted the script because I felt bad about asking people (a lot) about it. Can't complain with the results.
