Does anyone Know why on every AVTAK DVD and VHS cover there is a big white rectangle around Christopher Walken's name? Pleeeeeease help, i'm really irritated

It's that way on lots of posters too.
It has to do with how his billing was negotiated.
Stars contracts will say "50% of the title" or something like that - so the stars name will have to appear at least half the font size as the title.
Walken's representation must have stipulated that a white box appear around his name to draw attention to it.
He had recently won an Oscar so he probably had the clout to demand it.
