[Agent Spriggan Ominae]

Okay this is just my theory or speculation and I don't have any real evidence, this is just something I happened to think about and thought I should share it with you folks. It has to do with the character of Gettler, whom is a villain encountered by Bond near the end. There has been no offcial annoucment of who has been cast yet but apparently the call-sheets confirm the characters inclusion. So who is going to play the character? Or better yet why havn't they confirmed who will play him? Could it be infact a suprise cameo role? Maybe even the usual Micky G one? I am probably wrong but think about for a second. Who knows who we'll see in the part but I can see Wilson as Gettler.

Ignoring the fact that Mickey G is not that great of an actor in the first place. The role of Gettler is one that is a physical threat to Bond, Wilson does not strike me as a physical threat to Craig.

Gettler's meant to be very scary. Michael Wilson looks like Mr Burns and has the voice of Beavis. Which is scary, but in the wrong way. So: no.

The main villain being removed before the final act of the story? The movie continues a good 25 to 30 minutes after Le Chiffre makes his exit.

This certainly annoyed me in the novel, however in the film it shouldn't be a problem, as long as the audience knows there's still the threat of a bad guy (unlike the novel which drifts along slowly, waiting for Vesper to be revealed as a villain too). Basically, if it seems like there's still direction in the film, then it'll be fine (btw I haven't read the script, like some of you, nor many of the spoilers, so i'm deliberately making myself naive).

Hopefully that would make some people(I wonder who they are?) get the "point"(It is a pun if you've read the script) that he really isn't Bond anymore nor will he ever be again!
