It would have to be either FRWL, GF or Thunderball. I need to get back to some Connery Bonds again.

I'd like to watch 'Casino Royale' again, or one of Brosnan's 007's.

Oddly enough, it's GOLDFINGER. I guess I've decided to give it another chance. I had just read an interesting article about it.

Moonraker. I'm in the mood to watch "the film that almost killed the series" by outgrossing every Bond film that followed it(inflation adjusted, of course) :D

I've just finished watching GOLDFINGER. I managed to really enjoy Gert Frobe's performance in this one . . . and Honor Blackman's performance - until the barn scene, which I now loathe more than ever. I've also come to really appreciate the movie's score. Yet . . . I think it's still basically crap. I just don't think that screenwriters Richard Maibaum and Paul Dehn did a good job with the script. It has too many plotholes and scenarios that lack any logic or common sense. And I still hate that barn scene. With a passion.

I have to say, I appreciate the comments on Moonraker...

But, it's Octopussy. I'm not sure why, but I'm quite in the mood to watch Octopussy right about now. That means its time to put the DVD in.

It has to be TWINE at the moment, especially the PTS and Q's farewell scene.

I'm up for a double feature of You Only Live Twice and Moonraker, Connery's and Moore's most "outer space" entries. I watched a little of each of their DVDs last night after finding them after I thought I had mislaid them.

Indeed. David Arnold's gunbarrel music for DAD is probably the best one since the 1980s, possible even the 1970s.

Good point, I love the gunbarrel music, even the drum & bass undertones. I enjoy the PTS of DAD, even "Saved by the bell", but it should have been the death of Colonel Moon, and Graves should not be in the movie at all. It should be Bond vs General Moon.

It definitely is one of the best parts from probably my least favourite of his soundtracks (although that doesn't make it necessarily bad for me).
