LTK. My gf gave it to me for Christmas. Then maybe GE or TND which she also gave me.

I just finished my 50th year celebration with a heavy dose of silliness- the 1967 Casino Royale. I enjoyed very much ging through all the films. The highlight was seening 4 of the early films at a movie theater again. It was a particular thrill to see my first Bond film, OHMSS, again. It was 43 years ago this week that I saw in the first time.

I will probably take a break fom the Bond films for a while, exceptin when Skyfallcoms out on DVD.

Currently watching The Spy Who Loved Me. Love that Bond '77 theme.

Think that for my first Bond film of 2013, I'll be watching The Man With The Golden Gun tonight...

Skyfall inspired me to check out TWINE and GE again, plus the CR-QoS double feature.  Meant to watch OHMSS last but ended up watching DAF instead. So now it's either OHMSS or TND, so I'm all over the place!

Just picked up For Your Eyes Only and Thunderball on Blu-ray, so probably one of those will be the next one, although I still haven't gotten around to The Living Daylights yet, which I got on Blu-ray about a month ago now.  Only a couple of more Blu-rays left to get and I'll have all of the ones that I think are worth upgrading.

One blu-ray I will suggest despite it being a terrible film is Die Another Day. Visually it is already a fantastic looking movie (minus the ice wave). It looks great in high-def, and really accentuates the details. Of all the films this is one that really does look great in high definition.

I'm sure that Die Another Day does look pretty good in high-definition, but I don't think that's one that I'll end up adding to the Blu-ray collection.  I've currently got Dr. No, Thunderball, For Your Eyes Only, The Living Daylights, Licence to Kill, Casino Royale, and Quantum of Solace on Blu-ray.  I'll probably end up adding From Russia With Love, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, and Live and Let Die to more or less complete the collection of my Top 10 in Blu-ray.

I'll have to start my Bond Blu-Ray set soon, but will go for the chronological order rather than my random faves. Looking forward to seeing them in all HD glory!

Last film I saw was also 'Thunderball', dipping in and out of it this weekend on Sky Movies 007 HD. Still my least favourite Connery film, but still a decent effort.

I think that if I planned to get all of the films on Blu-ray, this is probably how I'd go about doing it as well.  I just can't see myself shelling out $10-15 on The Man With the Golden Gun, The World is Not Enough, or Die Another Day.

No, I probably wouldn't on stand-alone either. I always skim over the lesser favourites, which is sort of a shame, but we all do it with our personal choice.

If I start from 'Dr.No' then I'll make sure to watch them all, and probably re-discover some films again, like 'OHMSS' - I can't rememebr the last time I watched that so I am happy soon to re-visit and re-discover with fresh, Bond50 HD eyes!

Agreed on that. Some of them (A View to a Kill, The Man with the Golden Gun, Moonraker, Diamonds are Forever, The World is not Enough) I only have because they came in the Bond 50 set. I wouldn't pay for them individually.

I want to see Zero Dark Thirty really bad! I am going to see that or Gangster Squad tonight.

Still, 35 days to go and then I can! :D

(Umm..haven't you heard, seawolfnyy..the WORLD WIDE DVD and Blu-Ray release date has been bumped up to Feb. 12th!! :) ) Right...given how freezing it's been here these last few days and nights, I'm in the mood for a Bond with lots of sunny, tropical scenery...tonight will be a Casino Royale night!!

After reading the brilliant 'The Making of The Living Daylights' by Charles Helfenstein, it compelled me to watch the movie again. And what a fantastic movie it is. A lot of good going for it. I liked it before but now have an added appreciation.

I still haven't cracked open any of the Bond Blu-rays that I bought myself for Christmas.  Probably going to go with For Your Eyes Only tonight with Thunderball and The Living Daylights to follow in the next day or two.
