After a lot of pondering, I've finally decided to have a Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, Blu Ray double bill. Casino Royale is in the player now - absoloutly stunning.

OMG. I've had Casino Royale on Blu Ray for ages, and for some reason, after buying a Blu Ray Player, Cornells song sounds fresh and different, he sings in different keys. I can here gunshots aswell. This is stunning. I haven't even got a surround sound system.

Haven't watched Dr No for a while. How was it this time around, Harkers?

Brilliant. I love the classic feel it gives off. Connery is fantastic. Andres is fantastic. The Locations are stunning. God, It's one of the perfect 60's Bond outings.

I agree.

It is quite raw, and low key. The only fantastic sets are right at the end, and Bond relies on his wits as much as anything in this one. Think about him crawling through the pipes at Crab Key, ripping his shirt to use to protect his hands, and using bamboo to breathe when hiding in the river! No gadgets from Q there!

Agreed. It's a very difficult film to watch from beginning to end.

As for the Bond movie I feel like watching, I'd really like to sit down to a THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS/LICENCE TO KILL double-feature.

I did that the first time I watched them; unfortunately, I had rented the SE versions, so I was constantly distracted by the sped-up musical score in both.

Well now that my brain has cooked up a plotline to go along with my fan trailer, I feel like watching that. But I can't B) So I'll just settle for some good ol' Casino Royale. Been a long time since I watched that one...

Haven't seen OHMSS in over a month. Nearly two months now if I recall. Probably pop that into the DVD player later tonight or early tomorrow morning.

Right now I'm in the mood for The Living Daylights. I was 12 when it was released and I still remember going to see it in the theater with my uncle and my cousin, and loving every minute of it.
