Does anyone in this forum have a number of the John Gardner novel covers saved which they'd be willing to share? Any information about the various covers seen on various editions would also be helpful.

It's a terrific site with a listing of every edition for each Bond novel, including Gardner's and has a few pictures of his covers.
On the subject of Gardner covers. I love the first edition of Role of Honor with a statue/figure of a Red Coat soldier with a pin in his chest and also the first edition cover for Licence Renwed. (Richard Chopping)

BTW, MicroGlobe One: by the choice of username, does that mean you liked what Gardner did with the secret service in SeaFire and Cold (Fall)? I hated it at first because it seemed really bizarre but I like on the count of it's completely new and orginal and different. (Kinda wish Gardner got to write at least one more with MG-1 now.)
It's been some time since I read the Gardner novels involving MicroGlobe One but I remember being rather captivitated by the possibilities for conflict inherant in the istitution. I'm a fan of realism and Gardner, always one to keep Bond's world of espionage true to real world spy games, seemed to bring Bond's SIS into the modern world with MicroGlobe One.
If anything, I'm disappointed, as you are, that Gardner didn't get to do very much with the organization in the novels. It was established, the very idea of it created a bit of frustration for Bond and others, and that was that. I was hoping for a chance at some true institutional conflict to be incorporated into a story. Oh, well.
When it came time to choose an original username for the forum "MicroGlobe One" just kind of popped in there. So, there you have it.
As for the Gardner covers, I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled. Bondian.com provides a look at the first edition Gardner covers but I'll have to look elsewhere for the others. I'll look to eBay, as suggested, for the occasional large scan. Thanks.

Nice, the little splatter of blood is a nice touch.
Yeah, but it kinda looks like Bond's been shot. It's quite a nifty cover. I like any Bond material that uses a sillhouette (sp?) as it allows you to give him your chosen looks and doesn't allow you to be influenced by a cover picture. Unlike that Pan (?) paperback edition of Moonraker. Boy, was that a bad pic?!

Sorry for straying off topic.
