Interesting little piece you have there.
Curious question: it could work, but I find myself divided between seeing it work and preferring a gunbarrel with more movement in it. Craig is standing still with his back to the enemy.
Maybe if the image could be accelerated without breaking with the music and the duration of the gunbarrel...
I don't know.
