It was recently reported in a local TV news item that the yacht used in the Venice scenes is manufactured by Spirit Yachts who are based in Ipswich in the UK. Apparently the actual yacht used in the film is currently for sale.

It would appear that it is a "strip planked" Spirit 54.

I'd ask, "How much?" but I know I can't afford it... :-)

A very beautiful yacht, 54 feet is something! I live by the sea and often get the chance to sail with a Najad 360 that belongs to our family.
I would love to put on my Persol and take my DB5 for a short trip down to the marina with a Spirit 54 waiting for me. Waking up again only the shades stayed with me

Went in search of the yacht earlier today...and found her! She is a stunning 54 foot long and really looks the part. She is of an all wood construction and looks very sleek. An ocean going Aston Martin would sum it up! Unfortunately unable to take any photos but understand that she is due to be featured in several boating/yachting magazines shortly. Maybe the mariners amongst us will keep their eyes peeled and report back.

Will be glad to. Has anyone else seen her in the flesh, so to speak? She is a beautiful piece of kit, so stylish. Built to order and all hand made. Apt for a Bond film.
