Although not the very last line, you can't go wrong with :

"-Drat, I just dropped the soap.
-Don't worry, I'll get it.
-That, my dear, is not soap!"

'You didn't think I'd miss this performance did you' -James Bond in The Living Daylights
Classic Dalton

Agreed, probably my fave, helped by the end title song working its way in as well.

"haahahahahaha"
Baron Samedi laughing his head off in Live and Let Die.

My second favourite, because its a bit surprising and pure Hamilton IMO.

Honorable Mention to "Christmas only comes once a year", TWINE. Sorry, but just the sheer logistics of that pun. I'm positive the writers came up w/ Christmas Jones just because they wanted to put that line in.

I agree and also wouldn't be surprised the writers used that name for that line, but that's precisely why I hate the ending because its so obvious.

Im surprised no one has mentioned YOLT. Lois Maxwell's smile is a great way to end a Bond film.
"It would be a pleasure Sir"

I could go for the obvious, but I think I'll be creative and give a shout out to some lines that perhaps havent gotten recognition in this thread yet:

1. "Darling, what could possibly go wrong?" - I always enjoyed this line, and Brosnan's delivery of it feels really natural. In Brosnan's facial expression we truly see the man he says he is ("I take please...in great beauty.") Truly a wonderful moment and a great way to end a film.

2. "Let's stay undercover shall we?" - I would probably say this is tied with Goldeneye's line as it is really classy without being crude, such as the lines from the last two Brosnan films. This is the Bond I liked seeing from Brosnan, not the joke factory he became in later films (though I do enjoy Die Another Day, I wish the lines could have been a bit more clever and classy).

3. "Well then why don't you ask me?" - Again, following the theme I have so far in my choices, another really classy and believable line. The whole ambience of the scene helped sell this too. Very romantic.

4. "My name's Bond, James Bond." - I can't not include this one, just the epitome of cool. For the first time since Dr. No the line really stands out. I'm willing to bet in ten years time this scene will become truly iconic.

5. "Take me around the world one more time James" - A classy end to a silly film. But even at it's silliest Moonraker still managed to be sophisticated about it, never going for juvenile humor.

I could include so many more on this list, but per Mharkin's thread, I'll stick with this five.

I love that line but because it's cheesy and because of the sexual connotation. Classy? Remember this line comes just seconds after Q comments "I think he's attempting re-entry sir"!!!!! B)

It might as well be a Carry On movie finale!

MR. WHITE: Who is this?

JAMES BOND: The name's Bond... James Bond.

THAT'S THE BEST ONE EVER!!!!!!!

I agree totally. Simple but what made the cinema I was in stand up and cheer. Never saw that before and haven't seen it since either.

I only have one stand out closing line

"Bond , James Bond" from CR. IMO that is the best closing line of the 22 films. A great scene, especially in the context of the film.

Couple of honourable mentions
Baron Samedi hehehe(is that a closing line B) ) at end of LALD, inspired and unexpected(on first viewing)
"I never left", from QOS, another great last scene, and closure on Vesper.

I like this ending. But it's all very familiar, as M also said that she needed Bond back at the end of Casino Royale, and also to Bond in the underground station in Die Another Day.
