Eddie Izzard (Brit comedian and actor)
Anthony Bourdain (US TV chef)
Prince Phillip (I read somewhere - can't remember where - that the Bond novels were the most read books on the Royal Yacht Britannia
Steve Coogan (Brit TV comedian)
Billy Zane (US actor)
Robbie Williams (UK singer)
John Hurt (UK actor)
and the others mentioned already.
There are a few more.

So true. I can remember years ago while on David Letterman's show Tom Hanks gave his rules for watching TV. One of the rules was if you come across a Bond film on TV you have to watch itTom Hanks talks about Bond a LOT when he's on talk shows - he usually brings it up randomly too :-)

And although DaveBond21 and ACE already mentioned him, Robbie Williams is a huge Bond fan. I think he claimed that "Millennium" was his attempt at a Bond title song; hell, the melody sounds almost identical to the YOLT tune, the video is an obvious homage to the Bond films, and I seem to recall him performing the song at an awards show dressed in a Commander's naval uniform.

And yet again, when on Letterman to promote Da Vinci Code, Letterman asked Hanks if this was the most anticipated film ever, and Hanks responded that it was the most anticipated film since Moonraker!

Michael Jackson. Infact, I think there was a thread on here a while back, saying he was invited to the premier of Casino Royale.
I think his exact words were..."Peter Pan and Mickey Mouse invited me to the Casino Royale premiere but I was too busy playing with the puppets from Fraggle Rock..."

And when I'm famous I'll still be a Bond fan, so there ya go!
Cool. Can I have your autograph now?

I've been on board the Royal Yacht a couple of times and there are several Ian Fleming books dotted around the bookshelves.

Apparently Saddam Hussein was a Bond fan.
Yeah he liked Bond that much he had Le Chiffre beheaded in the mid Nineties.

I also think Terrance Stap is a Bond fan . I remember reading an interview with him in the 80s (pre dalton) and commented that none of the actors that played Bond played him like Fleming wrote the books)

This thread's really about which celebrities like James Bond films rather than who's a literary Bond - an Ian Fleming - fan, isn't it?
Yes. Does that not count then?

Sure it counts.
But I'd be interested in knowing which of these "fans" appreciated Fleming, rather than just having a laugh at Moonraker or adding a DB5 to the collection of cars in their garage.
Bu then, I'm always interested in which "fans" - even those on CBN - have an appreciation of the Fleming originals, rather than just the films.

I think David Walliams is pretty hard core, in both Bond movies and literature.
Yes, he seems to know his Bond. Plus he likes fast cars and fast women.

.... the first 20 Bond movies and Never Say Never Again. I mean, he even has Never Say Never Again! Must be a big Bond fan. (This was 2005, so no UE's or Casino Royale.

Now this is interesting. I'm currently making my way through David Tennants video diary on the Doctor Who Series 2 DVD, and I've spotted this...

Nicely spotted, MHarkin!

Though, may I ask: how on earth are you able to see that NSNA is on the DVD shelf?!? If you can see it on that picture, I want the name and address of your ophtalmologist, 'cause I need an urgent appointment with him!

It has a red spine, and a picture of Sean Connery. Not exactly difficult.
Nice spot!
There are also a handful of Australian celebrities who are Bond fans, but you wouldn't have heard of them.
I saw the Eastenders episode here, where they had a Bond night at the club with very authentic costumes - Minty even had the 1967 Blofeld scar!
