Personally i'd like to see the end of Casino Royale as it is in the book, making a new twist to the Bond film serious. A Bond girl's death at the end, it makes you want to see more. Then that last line, makes the book!

Ey - the ending'll be good - Passion or Tragedy? - might be both, may be neither :)

Yes, but that won't actually be the end of the film. From what I gather, at least. The ending will be rather more upbeat and audience-pleasing, and will show Bond kicking *** and being cool.

True, but I'm at least very happy to see it make it into the film. :)

Certainly, but it'd be nice to have it in its proper place. What they're doing with it kinda dilutes its impact as, y'know, an ending. :P

That's what I originally thought but I've come to really like the ending that we seem to be gettings, it's so badass and will be the defining CraigBond moment of the film probably.

Yeah. The ending of the film is certainly crowd-pleasing. I don't think the punch-in-the-gut ending of the book would really go over well - sure, we Bond fans would really dig it, but the audience would probably find such an ending more than a little upsetting.

Thankfully the ending we get is awesome, though. And we still get the Fleming line, even though it doesn't end the film.

I really hope the scripts ending stays intact. That was awesome.

It was kept intact. It was shot a while ago, and some pictures surfaced from the filming.

I wouldn't call it upbeat - but audience-pleasing definitely

Agreed, but also with what Harmsway says before. They've reached a medium here that works quite well enough.

Speaking as someone who never read the script but really wants to, what exactly is this great ending?

It's something that shouldn't be revealed, really. But should anyone really want to find out, shoot me a PM. Otherwise, I recommend you don't.

Yeah I would support that view - I think anyone who doesn't know the ending will be in for a great treat at the cinema :) It should be a great moment in the film, and hopefully in the overall franchise - very Bondian.

I'm gonna' stand up and clap, even if no one else in the theater does. That's how cool it is.

In my opinion (if they pull it off like I picture it in my mind) this moment will rival Connery's introduction in the casino in Dr. No.

This ending sounds like it's going to be great. I'd really like to know what happens but at the same time I want it to be a surprise so I guess I'll have to wait until November 17th. :)

Oh, come on! You can't do that! Besides, I am well aware of the risks that come with receiving this type of (deadly?) information. I really would like to know what happens. You won't be spoiling anything for me... Well, yes in a way as I will now know the ending, but it's something that I want to know. Hell, I would love to get my hands on the script itself, but unfortunately it hasn't found it's way into my lap yet :);)

Come on... I'll be your friend :P

My post gives away the ending, actually (well, sorta). That's all I'm going to say.
