witch benson novel do you all think should be made into a bond film? My pick would the facts of death. I enjoyed all of them but it would be to late to do zero minus ten and the others are all tied to gather with the use of the union.

The Man With The Red Tattoo would make a great film.

Only if the film is a lot like The Man With The Golden Gun!

i agree with Facts of Death, it feels like it's already a film novelisation...

You're probably right. A real shame - it's his best book (IMO) and probably his most filmic. Other than that, "The Man With the Red Tattoo" could work really well onscreen, not that Eon would touch it with a bargepole. None of the other Bensons is worth filming, if you ask me.

I agree, and Benson has said as much in an interview: "I think The Facts of Death is my most EON-like novel. I purposefully set out to write something that felt like a Bond movie with that one." The gadget car chase alone feels right out of one of the Brosnan movies. Honestly, I think it would be a better film than it is a book.

I would say The Man with the Red Tattoo, or Never Dream of Dying. EON wouldn't specifically have to tie Tattoo to The Union, just make Goro Yoshida a stand-alone villain. As for NDOD, well EON has a knack for adapting trilogies out of sequence, so why not. Again, Le Gerant could be adapted to be a standalone one-film villain. I think both would be suited for Daniel Craig, there's the element of the fantastic and yet the requisite grittiness in both of them.

Well my favorite of his is Doubleshot (i still havent read NDOD) but it's way too psychological to be a good modern action movie. Probably HTTK. And if you're worried about it not being part of the trilogy... its the first in the trilogy, so why not do all 3?
