The last five have been original working titles but ONLY three are a relevance to Bond and Fleming.
LTK, GOLDENEYE and TWINE.
LICENCE TO KILL : Bond's job
GOLDENEYE : Ian Fleming's home in Jamaica
THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH : Bond's family motto
So we can really say that from 21 official BOND movies only TWO titles are fully original and bear no relevanace.
TOMORROW NEVER DIES and DIE ANOTHER DAY. I still feel TOMORROW NEVER DIES should have been its original working title of TOMORROW NEVER LIES which makes more sense to the film.
Saying that LTK would have originally been known as LICENCE REVOKED so that could have been different.
But one other title I prefer to the two above is from the unofficial Bond film
NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN. I feel if you take away the relevance to Sean Connery this makes a good Bond title.
A VIEW TO A KILL would have been FROM A VIEW TO A KILL but I suppose we will never know why they took the FROM out. I suppose maybe after having FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE they opted out on having similar starting titles.
So after all this I suppose there is one more they can use ignoring say some of the short story titles from the novel FOR YOUR EYES ONLY...
DOUBLE ZERO SEVEN or
DOUBLE O SEVEN.
