Athena and I met Grand L. Bush at the Hollywood Collectors Show this past weekend. He was the DEA agent who escorts Dalton to the Hemingway House to get his license revoked. He also participates in the PTS action, and is in the Felix hospital scene.

He was very cool and we had some nice time for a one on one conversation. He talked about meeting Cubby which was his only audition. They just chatted and Cubby said, "Well, we'll be seeing you later then." He went home not knowing if he got the job -- called his agent who told him, yep, he was in. That's how Eon works. He talked about Robert Davi playing pranks on him in Key West, locking him in this hotel room by tying a tie to the door knob and railing. He also mentioned a cut scene where he and Rafer Johnson go through the swap in the PTS. Maybe not so much "cut", but one that was shot and never used.

A very nice guy.

Nice Zencat!! Great picture too!! He seems like a nice fellow. I would love to ask him how it was working with Robert Davi as CIA pals in Die Hard and then meeting up again as foes in Licence to Kill.

Great photo, guys! Grand L. Bush (Hawkins) got to dine with Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana through his Bond experience. He said he found the Prince to be quite "dashing" and "eloquent." To prepare for "Reverend Ross" in "Favorite Son," Grand memorized Luke Chapter 15 and the local extras thought he was a real minister and invited him to preach at their church! He was once a dancer in Las Vegas so did you invite him to the DTBB event?
