by Fleming:
LALD - Wilkinson commando dagger (probably one of the Sykes-Fairbairn
daggers is meant here)
FRWL - Wilkinson throwing knives (again Sykes-Fairbairn?)
GF - heel knife, no name given
OHMSS - heel knife, no name given
Looks as if the name of the commando dagger just escaped Fleming at the time of writing and the heel knives were custom made by the quartermaster.
by Gardner
LR - buckle knife, no name given
FSS - Sykes-Fairbairn throwing knife, developed from commando dagger
IB - Sykes-Fairbairn commando dagger
Lapp reindeer knife
WLOD - Sykes-Fairbairn commando dagger
DIF - Sykes-Fairburn commando dagger (probably a typing error, but
made throughout the text)
Buckmaster survival knife
Leatherman tool (ok, not exactly a knife, more of a wonder toy)
SF - Applegate-Fairbairn fighting knife
The Sykes-Fairbairn commando dagger is also sometimes called the Fairbairn-Sykes commando dagger/knife. I think, both names refer to the same kind of model in different types of manufacturing. The sudden appearence of a Fairburn seems to originate from a typing error that wasn't corrected. Sometimes, especially in his later books, Gardner mixed up previously correct researched facts, such as claiming in SF the APS had been derived from the Browning 9mm, when he had already stated rightfully in ROH, it has been developed from the S&W Model 39. The Applegate-Fairbairn knife is an updated version of the original Sykes-Fairbairn that is only manufactured in small quantities nowadays. Gardner most likely researched this fact and decided to adopt the modern version for SF.

NDOD - Walther P99 tactical knife
I couldn't find another knife mentioned by Benson, but I'm rather sure I missed one or another. Please post any knives that have escaped me on putting toghether this list.
