So my rather shakey knowledge of the plot, being one of only about three people who hasn't read the script, tells me that this means the Eton filming will..
Spoiler
Or Harrow.

Wassat? Is that where the match is set? I beg your forgiveness- it's ages since I read the script reviews. Although the palm trees and other bits wouldn't be required for that, would they?

It also goes past the cricket ground but I guess said walk will send you through a detor on filming days.
Any idea which days next month they're filming?

Yeah and I got 5 wickets there once! Never saw any spies lurking around the boundary though Will be very interesting to see how they can transform leafy Eton into the location though - quite a challenge I would imagine, but suppose it won't be featuring for too long in the movie.Once scored 73 there, I did.

given just how dull cricket actually is, one would certainly hope not

I imagine it will be after term time finishes at the school. Suppose you could always call the school and ask them, but they will probably will be reluctant to give out any information.Any idea which days next month they're filming?
EDIT: I've just discovered that term finishes at Eton on 30th June, so that's not particularly helpful. Could be any time in July!

Then they've done their job
It's been a while since I've read the script review also, but...

As I understand it. And whilst, yes, it's a UK location standing in for overseas, there's a definite humour in having Bond "start" at Eton, isn't there? Isn't there? Even if that precise bit has already been filmed in Prague or somewhere.

Yes, there's humour in having Bond "start" at Eton, right enough, but putting two and two together I gather that
Although I may be wrong about this.

No, I think the order remains as is but he doesn't get his "00" until the second kill; so "starts" at Eton.
Ish.
OK, it's not that good a point but it amused me for an atosecond.

As for the issue of which of the two 00 killing is first, it's slightly complicated in the script draft by the fact that one of the killings (Pakistan) is told in flashback, meaning that it is the second death shown on screen. Hope that makes some sort of sense!

Edit
Forget that, the addition of "palm trees" is a bit of a give away, it’s not intended to represent Eton.

They might just decide to rip it out.
Or perhaps they moved the location to England?
