so if the next movie is to take place just after Casino Royale, wouldnt that make it Live and Let Die?!

On that note, didnt they say that they wouldnt be remaking movies?

if they do make a remake of LALD, i wonder if they will use the Guns'N'Roses version of the song... not a bad cover tho.

No, I don't see a reason why they'd feel that they'd have to keep making the following movies in order of how the Fleming novels were released. I'd say anything is game.

I think Barbara mentioned that the next film will be an original tale. Though some of the storyline is continued on from Casino Royale.

They arent going to make Live and Let Die again. Babs (at least for the moment) said they arent going to refilm any of the novels already made into films.

Yes, forget the idea of Fleming's Live And Let Die to be the next film and Moonraker to be the one after that, etc. Casino Royale was the only Fleming novel that was yet an official film.

I certainly hope they follow that path. I'd love to see the next couple of films have some plot/character continuity with CR!

But not too much, I hope. I can totally see Bond 22 as a sequel, but after that, hmmmm....
Independent adventures with little hints of continuity (little) here and there work fine for me. Like in some of the books, wich refer previous villains and missions.
