I watched it again on Monday. It's a great Bond movie and I put it in my Top 6 now.

I watched it again on Monday. It's a great Bond movie and I put it in my Top 6 now.

I think the film works so well because the plot is focused. Other things happen in between, but at the core Sanchez escapes custody, maims Felix and Bond goes after him. It's a story that always keeps me watching even though I've seen it many times.

 

1989 is my birth year, and I'm happy to be forever tied to James Bond and Batman who both had releases then.

1989 is my birth year, and I'm happy to be forever tied to James Bond and Batman who both had releases then.

Happy to join you there. Throw in Indiana Jones and it was a hell of a year for some of my favorites.

I was 14 and disappointed I couldn't see it in the cinema as I was too young, having seen TLD at the age of 12!
