I am guessing this is a very exclusive club, with not a lot of members.

There are 6 members. Click the members page to see who.

Not much longer and I'll be in the FD club. :)

Who was the founding member?

Poor Blue Eyes. I bet you he never got anything for making 1000 posts, because he ran the club.

Yes it is.

And we can thank Daniel and Barbara Brocoli for setting the whole thing up. It was a smart idea on their part.

Thanks Dan. Thanks Babs.

Don't get me wrong, this was all Daniel's brainchild. Daniel wrote Barbara with the idea and she--and her contacts--helped Daniel make the club what it is today.

Yes he has. And the Four Digit Club Extended Site Services is what makes the FDC truly worthwhile.

Shhhhhhhh....... Oh well, people know about it now.

Just as long as the system blocks anyone not in the 4DC from entering then I guess it's ok.

I have to warn you though, the club will become more and more exclusive.

While it is currently the 4 DIGIT club it will soon become the 5 DIGIT CLUB. You'll note that my posting level is pushing towards 10,000 quite rapidly.

What happens then is all the current 4 DIGIT members retain their membership, however, no one new is admitted to the club until they reach 5 DIGITs.

I think that's perfectly fair Dan.

We should maybe cap the club to 10 members tops? I'm sure Barbara Broccoli will get a bit fed up organising things if we have a lot of ppl.

That's a good idea James! I'll e-mail her now and ask her :)

Capping it at 10 will also mean no new car spaces or amenities. Face it, most of us can't visit the FDC HQ at any given time simply cause of travel constraints. Should keep the costs down too.

Oh wild rumour here. Can't say who from, but the FDC members should be able to guess cause they know who is involved. But apparently, this July if we sign a contract we'll all get personal copies of the Die Another Day script!

Xenobia (07 Apr, 2002 07:10 p.m.):(edited)And what about lady members hitting 1000?  Who has done it before...or could I potentially be the first?

Thre are ladies in the 4DC, although they are not members... They reside in my hot tub most of the time, or on Mr*'s couch (alhtough not when he's in, he'd go mad!) :)

So boys, are we going to keep this a strict gentlemen's club, or shall we have to dry-wall a corner of Blue Eye's utility room to create a ladies loo?

Dry wall a corner of the utility room? I bloody well don't think so! If there are to be lady members, you will treat us as James treats his ladies...

Ummm...scratch that....

You will treat us the way Pierce treats his women. (All two of them, or three depending on which bio you read.)

As for the couches, the hot tubs...I am strictly a silk sheet woman, gentlemen!

Yeah. But I'll leave it to you to tell Blue Eyes that he's going to be losing part of his utility room inorder to make way for a ladies loo.

I am not losing my utility cupboard ever! That's like saying you're taking away my library! Where would I read all the hundreds of Bond works on display - and where would you read them!!

No! We'll just convert the currect loo! This is the 21st Century, we can have a unisex loo!

Okay, then tell Blofeld's Cat not to bring any more Indonisian food. I don't think the ladies would want to share after we've had a meal like that again.

Well I like the fried eel and komodo satay sticks, even if no one else did. :)

I think Mr* should create a FDC logo, but keep it as initials to cover both "Four" and "Five" as Blue Eyes will hit that mark soon.:)
