Daniel Craig in the buff
(KP International) Daniel Craig and his gorgeous French costar, Eva Green, are reported to be appearing nude in some steamy scenes in the upcoming Bond flick 'Casino Royale.'
An insider has reported that James Bond (Craig) and double agent Vesper Lynd (Green) strip down for a full-frontal on a yacht and enjoy some skinny-dipping.
"Another scene is set in a hotel room," said the insider. "The script simply says: 'Bond and Vesper make reckless love and destroy the room.' It's frenzied and very, very passionate. Bond fans won't have seen anything like it before.
Craig is not a newcomer to on-screen nudity. He can be seen to full advantage in the 1998 biopic of British painter Francis Bacon, 'Love is the Devil.' Well at least the actor has learned his lesson when it comes to negotiating his nude scenes.
Craig once agreed to do a scene naked in 2000's 'Some Voices' after a night of boozing with the director. "The lesson is, never get drunk with directors," said Craig about the incident.
In the case of 'Casino Royale,' Craig didn't need any alcoholic incentive. "I have told bosses I'm prepared to do a full frontal scene," said Craig. "I'm not shy and Bond wouldn't be shy about it either.

This appears to go completely against what he said in that E! (Or was it Entertainment Tonight?) interview, where he flat-out denied there would be nudity. "We can't do that, you know we can't do that! We couldn't get the ratings!" Just being coy? Hrm.
"Destroy" the room?
Destroy?
Okay, then.

This article is pure fluff. The film is still intended for a "family audience". Maybe they show a bit more Vesper nudity - but that

I don't get this, Bond can't smoke because of the kids who may see CR. But, he can go for the Big Willy?
The difference being that smoking isn't good for you, whereas sex, well, it's just good. Anyway, you won't see his willy, her nipples or anything else that (for some reason) seems to offend people, don't worry.
I just hope that, for once, we'll get a director's edition on DVD after the kiddie movie is out of the cinemas.

Really? I didn't know that. Of course, when I think of a Bond Girl and her horse I think of Tylyn Mignonne from Benson's NEVER DREAM OF DYING...in DAD Jinx was originally written to be introduced on horseback- Solonge get's that privilege this time around.

I take offence to this: I have seen it before... just not in a film

Off topic a little. Remember Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom? The scene where the cult leader rips the guys heart out of his chest and holds it up beating in his hands. That was rated PG at the time and scene caused the PG-13 rating as it created a huge backlash by family audiences on the Motion Picture Association. PG-13 can go pretty far on the effects these days.

Agreed. Alfred Hitchcock got the same effect without showing all the gore by making you use your imagination. My legs are already crossed imagining the carpet beater scene. PG-13 or not people will cringe.
I hope you're right. I know that it (the carpet beater scene) can be done well, but something about the equation Martin Campbell=Alfred Hitchcock doesn't fly.

I really hope they consider releasing an unrated cut of CR: that would be awesome! I dream of a full-blown '18'-rated Bond!
