Craig: [over the phone] Haters?

Haters: Yes.

Craig: I've got an idea... Why don't you come 'round for breakfast? I'll squeeze some orange juice and grind some coffee and we can talk about this like adults. How's that sound?

Haters: Sounds very hospitable.

Craig: Do you know where I live?

Haters: No.

Craig: Well, off then.

More LAYER CAKE dialogue adaptations:

"And forgive me for stating the obvious, but stay away from the end user. Don't go to fan conventions, signings and so on."

"I hate guns* and violence, but as a Roman general - Broccoli, I think his name was - once said, when you see Pierce, prepare for war."

*Hey! Wonder if that's where the tabloids got it from?

Well, Craig himself did say, "Screw 'em!" So it sure goes to show what Craig thinks of those who want to boycott the film.

Concerning the 'breakfast' line; I've always loved that line. Brings a smile to my face every time.

And anybody who saw that interview knows that Craig did not really feel comfortable saying it.

On the other hand, I can only say: Right on, dude.

I know. It looked as though he hesitated and thought to himself, "Should I even dignify this with a response.". He was set up with a bad question, and I think that he did fairly well with answering it, although he could have saved himself a bit of trouble by either not answering it or telling her that it didn't matter to him what they thought, but in more polite terms than how she led him to say it.

I'm sorry but I think the media are such hypocrites at times. To me, the 'screw 'em' comment was honesty. And since the media 'pride' themselves on honesty I find it stupidly ironic that they get on to him about this now.

And the press wonders why so many people don't like them.....

I think he said it in a jokey enough tone to not take it serious.

I agree. And even if he did mean it, good for him. The more I see of him and the film the more it think I'll like it. I know I'll go to the film a couple of times and no matter what, great, bad or indifferent I'll buy the dvd the moment it comes out. ( And so will most of us here. ) He may not be the best looking Bond actor as far as dark handsome, suave looks go, but thank our lucky stars it's not Burt Reynolds! :D
