You have a point but... From the looks of things (like pictures on set, interviews, and so fourth) what movie do you see?
Dr. Thunderno's Licence to Kill

But seriously, until I see a couple of trailers, I won't have an opinion. But of the few spoilers I've seen, it doesn't look too shabby.

Which Bond film from the past kind of resembles Casino Royale in your opinion? Like the style of Bond (Many claim Craig has the Connery Persona) and location (Dr. No?) suspense (Goldfinger type deal?)
To me CR sounds similar in style with OHMSS (after YOLT), FYEO (after MR) and TLD & LTK (after the whole Moore era). You see my point.
OHMSS comes to mind also because of Vesper (Bond falling in love with her like he did with Tracy) and the real-stunts-no-gadgets approach. (Plus Pierce Brosnan will return for Bond 22 like DAF.)

God I hope not! As much as I liked brosnan, I don't want to relive all those old Bond jokes I had to live with in 1985.
Plus, even if CR is not very popular at the box office, I think EON will want to give Craig a second chance with a more typical bond film to "bond" with the audience (Sony may not be so kind).

... and just like Moore returned after LTK ... oh, wait.

Nope, never.
