When I recently read 'The Day of the Jackal' I kpet on picturing Daniel Craig as a modern day Jackal. If there were to be a remake, which there most likely won't be, do you think Craig would make a good Jackal or will his name be too big?

He'd be a fine choice but we need another remake of Day of the Jackal like I need a hole in the head.

Craig would be much different from Edward Fox. Much of the charm of the original was watching Fox act so relaxed and charming, especially in front of the members of the OSS in the opening scenes. Craig wouldn't be able to play it that way, though I think he will be a great Bond.
