I posted comments of this nature in the BBC news thread but they got forgotten amid all the chatter about the first glimpse of Bond in action.
Every video that we've seen Craig is giving interviews in the same get up (presumably he had a few hours off and just saw reporter after reporter). The get up Craig is wearing appears to be an unbuttoned dress shirt. Perhaps they've started filming the Casino scenes? Or at least filmed some scenes of Bond dressed up?
Surely this puts some people's mind at rest that this Bond will be underdressed, no?

Something apparently overlooked.

This is from USA Today, and explains how Bond's fashion sense will improve over the course of the film:
"As the character develops within the story, we get the opportunity for
him to become this beautifully, elegantly dressed man," says costume
designer Lindy Hemming, who previously dressed Brosnan for the Bond
films. "Because we've seen the gritty, earthy, dirty undercover man
before, it's kind of a big shock and it's really nice when we see him
immaculate."

Hope that eases your mind!

It's not overlooked. USA Today spoke to the issue with a quote from CR costume designer Lindy Hemming, who previosly dressed Brosnan (!!!) for the Bond films.
EDIT: Oh, I see someone beat me to it!

Thanks for the quote guys
I havent had a chance to read the article yet, so it is a little reasurring. Although to be honest it's not me that needs the reasurring, I thought it'd just be a nice nugget to toss out there because I didnt see any real discussion on it.

Yeah. I never understood what they were so worried about, anyway. Did they think Bond would dress like that in a casino???
The naysayers have quieted down a lot. Especially the people who kept saying he wasn't manly enough for the role ("He hates guns!" "He lost a tooth!" etc.). Funny what a quick film clip or two can do. Now they have to find new complaints ("he said 'screw off' to the fans!"). LOL
Before that the beach shots quieted down the whiners who complained he wasn't sexy enough (MTV compared his emergence from the water as the beefcake version of Ursula Andress' entrance in Dr. No).
November can't come soon enough.
