Has anyone else heard of this new BBC series called Spooks? It has the tag line MI5 not 9 to 5. It's all about MI6's counterpart MI5... all the dodgy dealings and double crossings. Has anyone else got any information on it. I've just seen the trails and I'm pretty excited... has anyone else seen the trails? Anyone else looking forward to it?

It's nice just to see some intelligent drama with some action on British TV... feels like a sensible Avengers that's based more in real life. And I love the Avengers.

I'm really looking forward to this too.
I'm hoping it's a "grown up" version of Bugs which was an excellent Beeb Saturday night programme a few years ago.

Wasn't a big fan of Bugs... but I see where you're coming from. I think it's going to be pretty similar to NCS: Manhunt which stared Sam Bond and David Suchet (hell you know which one I mean it had Moneypenny in for goodness sake!) which was a cracking series.

Sorry, but Bugs bugged me a lot. It just had too much of a B-grade feel to it. It had promise but couldn't deliver.

I'm looking forward to it greatly. It'll be nice to see some decent espionage action on a weekly (or is it daily?) basis and especially situated in the UK.
If you check 'What's On TV?' the magazine, they have a whole page with character profiles and storylines.

A BBC show with a poor budget, but IMHO, did bloody well for what it had.
