Since a certain Mr S. Connery is known to reside in the Bahamas, do you think he'll stop by the set to see what's going on? Should be good for a candid photo or two.

Heck I doubt it. He hates the Bond producers.

Doubt it as well. I don't remember him visiting any of the recent James Bond film sets, so I don't think anything new will happen in this case.

I doubt it, although that would be a great press event. Have Connery come out for the day, stand next to Daniel Craig in front of the cameras and talk about how much he looks forward to seeing him in the role. It all would be BS but great publicity.

Well he'd have no reason to visit any of the recent Bond sets, he would have had to jet somewhere to do so. But with CR, they're filming in his back yard, he recently made enthusiastic comments about Daniel Craig, and just revisited Bond in the FRWL videogame. He'll probably at least run into some of the cast and crew at the local golf course anyway

Sean Connery visiting a James Bond set in 2006? You must be joking!

As much as I'd love to see Sir Sean visit the CR set, I agree with everyone else-- it just won't happen.

Does anyone even know what the last set he visited (if there was such a case) was?

I loves Moore visiting the GE set, and joking with Broz "they called me, I'm back on the job. You can go home now".

Well Connery met Brosnan at Pinewood for the first and only time. Although, Connery was at Pinewood for a completely unrelated reason.

Seeing as Connery has never visted the set, I don't know why he would on this. And just because they are filming in the Bahamas doesn't mean anything substantial will be filmed there. It could very well just be some underwater stuff that won't require any cast members present.

More importantly, does anyone actually care?

But, seriously, folks. No. No, he won't.

Most film companies these days would bar Mr Connery from setting foot anywhere on their property!

It depends on Connery's mood. Since he's supporting Craig to the fullest, there's maybe a possibility of Connery giving a "good luck" to Craig by visiting the set.

Connery hates Bond producers? If he does, then he shouldn't make the FRWL game.

The only James Bond set Connery visited or will ever visit in a year that ends with a 6 is the You Only Live Twice set in 1966.

I can't see Connery visiting the CR set, but it's not impossible. I wouldn't say that but for the fact he took part in that recent FRWL game. Thus, he can't be completely hating of the Bond persona anymore.
