Hahahaha...

Out of all the poor coverage of the Bond 20 Press Conference, Channel 4 wins the award for dumb-:) reporting.

Reporter: "Pierce, when do you turn 50?"
PB: "When do I turn 50? What kind of a question is that?!"
Reporter: "Well don't you think you're getting on a bit, you turn 50 this year?"
PB: "No, no! (evil stare) I was born on May 16th 1953, get it right!"

John Snow: "Err, well, our reporter there not getting his facts straight with oh-oh-seven, sorry, I mean double-0 seven"

The reporter then wrote this:

Not that you can detect any bitterness in it, oh no.... :-)

I missed it. I'm sure there'll be something on the 10:00 Beeb news.

Hmm. But on a day when North Belfast goes wrong again, street violence is on the increase and poor Mr and Mrs Brown have to bury their baby, Channel 4's response may quite properly be "who gives a ****?". It's embarrassing to the reporter involved but not earthshattering.

Tends to show some hideous vanity on the part of the questionee, though.
