Of course this is Grand Final day, if the Bombers win, I'll be out celebrating, if they lose I'll have to settle for Bond on the tele.
Oh, and don't forget 'The Edge' on Channel 7 tonight (23rd) which, while not a Bond film, is directed by Bond 20 Director Lee Tamahori.

God I hope Angela Bishop doesn't cover Bond 20. I'll be most upset.
Did you ever see her Episode I interviews?

She might be into "snuff" movies. :-D
I wouldn't want to see her in one though. Good lord.... ugh....

It may be that 10 has not yet exhausted the number of times FYEO can be shown by them. This could be the last before they renew the contract or another channel takes up the option.
I don't know, but could be.

They are all showing Bond's from all the periods. What did they pick and mix or something? Or are they trying to gang up on Channel 9?

WHAT IS IT WITH BOND ON TV?!
I have all the movies on disc, so I can watch them whenever I want, and with no adds.
Yet, as soon as one is showing on TV, I have to watch it!
Tell me about it. For some reason I can't resist watchinf Bond at an inconvienient time with lots of ads, maybe the ads for it during the week get me fixated, I don't know.

Personally, I didn't expect them to win. The weather was against them. They weren't in best form. I mean Hawthorn almost won (it was the last 10 minutes that decided that game) and they are only just getting their form back (next year and year after I'm sure they'll do very well). But c'est la vie!

A few things then happened:
1. The movies that got better ratings, they kept renewing, while letting the others lapse to be taken up by another channel.
2. That other channel then does the same thing.
3. In the mean time new Bonds are made, but not necessarily optioned by the original channel for broadcasting. Each subsequent movie may not have been taken up by the same network.
4. On occasions the channels may not be able to re-new the movies they want to keep because a rival network has placed a higher bid and won.
So you see, there ends up no clear path as to who owns what at any given time, and for how much longer.
Ummm....what was the question again?

God help us if she ever touches Bond.
Now Peter Luck's interview for TND was good!

If so, let's hope she never has the need to ask:
"Towards the end Bond gets killed...."
Well they wouldn't kill the series. But this is how dumb she would be:
Tomorrow Never Dies Interview By Angela Bishop, with Teri Hatcher
"So Paris Carver, sexy tart, but is murdered by her husband Elliot half way through the film. How does that feel?"
Stupid cow.
And I know what you mean about TV! It's still addictive. I love it when the advert comes on. I race to the TV
