No Moneypenny, but maybe Bond's secretary

Maybe it will be Bond's secretary, Loelia Ponsonby. In the novels (certainly the first four or five) she is present more than Moneypenny, and Fleming even hints that Ponsonby cares and wishes after Bond, mcuh in the same way Moneypenny does in the films. Was Moneypenny really based on Bond's secretary.
Anyway, back to the point, maybe we'll see Miss Ponsonby instead of Miss Moneypenny (as we know she is not in the film). This would be great as it would be more faithful to the book.

I was thinking, in a few reports it has been noted that casting has been in progress for two female roles. Now supposing this doesn't include the girlfriend of Demetrius, who could this second lady be?

The third female role is that of Le Chiffre's girlfriend, supposedly an "edgy pop star" is rumored for it.

Forget Fleming's Loelia Ponsonby. I want Benson's Nigel Smith in Casino Royale!
Well since Bond is returning to the Bahamas, perhaps Nigel Small-Fawcett will make an appearance instead

I have never read anything but Fleming as it's not ACTUALLY the real original James Bond, just immitation Bond stories. If Nigel Smith's character is as exciting as his name I couldn't be less interested.
I'd love to see 007's secretary Loelia in Casino Royale, it would be really fresh and original for the films, intruiguing for newbies and exciting for old school Fleming fans like me

Also it would be another fresh regular character relationship to develop with James Bond for the films. I loved the way he teased Lil and Mary in the books, especially the scene where he calls his office and says to Mary Goodnight "Good morning Goodnight" and signs off with "Goodbye Goodnight"

Entering his outer office, talking to Loelia Ponsonby:
Bond smiled into her grey eyes, "I only call you Lil on Mondays," he said "Miss Ponsonby the rest of the week. But I'll never call you Loelia. It sounds like somebody in an indecent limerick. Any messages?"
lol

If Moneypenny is not in CR and yet she is in the book (albeit briefly), how does it sit with our Fleming obsessiveness to include Lil when she's not in the novel?

I notice that the once-rumoured 'new Miss Moneypenny' Camilla Power doesn't have any work lined up at the moment.
I wonder...
