Hey everyone,
I'm trying to set up a James Bond Newsletter (eventually magazine) in Australia that is to be published in Oz. While it could be sold in any English speaking country I want to begin by aiming it directly at Australia, New Zealand and other Southern Hemisphere countries because it's would be a lot easier to post it there, however, if a person from any country requests a copy I'll gladly send it their way.

Furthermore, once building up a steady fan base I'd love to organise a fan club for the Southern Hemisphere with the intention of having fan conventions.

If any of you have any ideas, suggestions, anything what so ever please please please comment on it here. Discuss it, whatever! Just please guys, help me out with this one!!

Cheers

I'm assuming it's gonna be a monthly publication and so I reckon you could get away with around

Well thanks for that Roger :)

I'm open to any ideas actually. Seeing it's a magazine for the fans I just want to see exactly what the fans want! Hence, I'm saying "you tell me" personally I'd love to see full colour but that of course will increase the price and I'm not sure that people would appreciate that.

I'm just replying to my own thread to take it back up into "Today's Posts" so a few people may see it. Hope some of you like the idea!

That would be great Mr Moon. While I'll base it in Australia I'm really hoping that I could get quite a few overseas subscribers. I think it would really help improve the quality of the magazine.

Hi Blue Eyes. If you can get the fan magazine up and running you are welcome to use my scenarios. I assume there will be a fan fiction section.

I guess we're not far off. We're looking into legal things at the moment. We're also looking at printing options. Which leads me on to something:

How many pages would you want?
What price would you want per magazine (please don't say free, be reasonable)?
Would you want full colour, partial colour, no colour?

Answers to those questions would really really help!!

Cheers Daniel
