"Plot: Based on Ian Fleming's first novel in the James Bond series but updated and shifting its location from Europe to the Bahamas, this essentially serves as a prequel to the whole series which shows British naval commander turned MI6 agent James Bond on his first assignment and how he goes on to earn his 007 status. The mission? An ex-Soviet state assassin has lost a lot of his nation's funds on a failed private venture and is attempting to win them back at a famous casino in the Bahamas. Bond must go in and beat him at his own game to ensure his death comes at the hand of his own people. As the young agent soon learns though, the greatest dangers take place away from the playtables - whether it be in the arms of a woman, or at the cold torturous hands of an enemy."
It also says that David Suchet is cast in the movie!!!!

Did you just post Suchet's name there, Niwram? I could swear it wasn't there when I checked 10 minutes ago. And isn't on the other page you linked.

That's what I meant, and it's where the link I posted leads to.But in the other hand, on another page of Dark Horizons it appears David Suchet next after Daniel Craig. Now that's odd...

No,His name is there, and it was there all the time. Ask a mod.(and check your eyes)
I think you doth protest too much. I looked at it and reread it to make sure and didn't see Suchet's name. Then you posted and bang - it was there.
I looked at the same page where his name now appears.
Why would a moderator of this site know anything about what is posted on Dark Horizons, and when?

It's not IMDB, there's no way to edit them. It's official information sent from Sony. How the hell am I supposted to edit them if I'm not from Sony?!
Dark Horizons is impossible to edit? Really? Even if you write for them?
Sony have officially announced that Suchet is in CR - and *no other media source on the planet has reported the news*? Really?

I don't hold much stock in the Suchet rumour - and I don't buy that this is official information from Sony. If so, why does nobody else have it?
But I may well be wrong. It occasionally happens. In which case, apologies.
I can read and think fine, thanks.

If this film is supposed to be some kind of "Bond Begins" movie, then having recent elements in it makes no sense at all.
Judi Dench (not a bad choice to play the role in the modern world) as "M" is wrong casting if this movie is supposed to be set before all the others.
Likewise the very latest Aston Martin.
Bond should live in the real world not some surreal fantasy land like Gotham City.
Timelines need to be respected for believability's sake.
The movie needs to be set in the Cold War and BEFORE 1962 (the year Dr No was made).
Le Chiffre (assuming they keep the villian's character) needs to be French and the movie should be set in France not some tropical paradise. Let's be honest, the Bahamas were done in "Thunderball" and offer nothing except gorgeous views of the ocean.
Cheers from Rich
