I just finished reading You Only Live Twice. Blofeld parading around his garden of death in a suit of armor was a little odd. The book turned out to be quite good. I really never get dissapointed with Bond literature.

Yeah, I know what you mean. When I first read YOLT I was thinking[i]Okay when are we going to see Bond and Dikko attack Blofeld (I sort of figured it was coming) and blow up his Piz Fuji suicide clinic. ^_^
But the book was really good, especially how Bond blows up the castle with the guyser valve.

YOLT is a strange book. To me, it is somewhat dull, yet written so well, that it is difficult to stop reading it.

The Blofeld in the books seems more "evil" and than hism movie counterpart, to me at least.
Is this the first time you've read YOLT? If so, you may want to check out TMWTGG, Fleming's last novel and tying up the cliffhanger ending from YOLT.
