The late Mrs. Felix Leiter (Priscilla Barnes) from the film LICENCE TO KILL will be appearing at the Gaithersburg Antique and Collectible Show in Gaithersburg, Maryland. She will be signing autographs on Saturday, February 11, 2006 only.

Met her at the Hollywood Collectors Show last July. She's very cool.

I saw this listing a couple of days ago but it wasn't until I saw Qwerty's Quick News link that I realized that it was Priscilla Barnes who played Della Churchill in Licence To Kill.

That's right Felix Leiter's wife is going to be in the city I call home on Feb. 11th - Gaithersburg, Maryland at the County Fairgrounds just about 2 miles from where I am sitting.

Wonder if any of the CBn East Coast Crew will be attending?! With this and the Baltimore Boat Show the same month, it's looking like February could be a very busy month for us.

I met her at a comic convention once. Lovely person, but alas I didn't own Licence to Kill at the time; otherwise it would've been perfect.

Probably around 1pm. But I may be earlier since traffic is a pain coming out of Virginia. I'll have to bring my original LTK posters for signing. Is Doublenaught coming too?

I'm not sure he is aware of her appearance yet, but he is going to the Boats of Bond exhibit in Baltimore so I imagine he would make this too.

I am planning to be there between 10 and 11 am. Ms. Barnes is leaving after 1pm and that does not give me much time to do a video interview.

Thanks for that heads up....I'll be there at 10 a.m. I only live about two miles from there so I can make it any time.

This time I think Charles should look after your stuff as you do the camera interview LOL....j/k

Looking forward to it. I just put the address in my PDA.

The coupon isn't working on the website

Darren does your paper ever run coupons for it?

I can't wait to hear more & see those pictures  . I thought she did a great job as Della. Just the right manner, look, etc. I am "Della" elsewhere and wish I had been able to meet here today (I'm in California).

Charles had her sign one photo (of what looked like a possible deleted scene) to CommanderBond.Net, to which Priscilla said "I'll have to check that out" when we explained CBn to her. She was not able to stay long because she had a flight this afternoon and her table had a long line of people waiting to see her so we had limited time with the actress.

Anyway, here's a picture of Ms. Barnes with one very scary looking, suspicious fellow - you have been warned:

Thanks. We did get a couple of tidbits of information from Priscilla. We learned that she did not screen test for the role, but was already friends with Barbara Broccoli and that she had just broken up with Robert Davi's best man and so Davi was upset with her throughout the filming of the movie. She also was not aware of any scenes that ended up on the cutting-room floor (though the picture Charles had her sign for CBn seems to suggest that there was).

She also said that it was not until years later when it was pointed out to her that Benecio Del Toro (sp?) was in the movie that she realized that she had acted with him previously (in Licence To Kill)
