I would have thought half the fun would be in revisiting Remington Steele 20-odd years on. Maybe it's just me, but I don't really see the appeal of a Steele flick sans Brosnan (as Steele). All we'd be left with is yet another TV show retread (of which critics appear to be already tiring).

Fox owns Remington Steele. Irish DreamTime will probably get permission to produce it and have Fox distribute it.Does Pierce even have the rights to do a Remington Steele film? I would think Universal or whatever company put it out originally would still have the rights. I haven't heard or read anything about Irish Dreamtime aquiring the rights to this property.
