More like "people who have power, but who we don't like"

He's number 44:
The joke appears to be on Film Threat, who have been cold ever since, oh, around 1996. Everything about this list is sooo tired already. "Look at us, we're making fun of Tom Cruise! See how anarchic and anti-Hollywood we are! Don't forget to click on the adverts to buy DVDs from the big corporate studios!"

You said it, Dinovelvet.
Pretty pathetic, this. Craig a 'flyweight arthouse Brit'? As opposed to what, 'heavyweight blockbuster Frenchman'? Film Threat's geek jargon is simply laughable. Hot- and cold-lists are sure signs of desperation, made up by people too stupid to be able to hide their double standards.

At least with Brosnan, people weren't taking it too seriously, I think the danger is Casino promising to be a serious Bond film and they don't actually allow Craig ownership of the role, he won't be smoking, what's wrong with a few ciggies, now I could let off brosnan films because it appeared bond had move with the ages, but casino is meant to be like a restart, yet the origins of Bond's character and mentality are being ignored.
Face it, the bond producers are killing the series, yes the films make money still, so did Titanic, who cares about box office over quality? One hard hitting Pierce Brosnan Bond film is worth like 5 times more then a tamed Bond film such as DAD, creatively comprimised film.
The Living Daylights and LTK are my most watched films, Dalton was allowed ownerhsip of the role, he was allowed to smoke, he was allowed to be flemming's Bond, the writers were true to the characters of flemming in LTK.

Would you stop whining about Brosnan in every post you make? It's getting really annoying.
If you read the post, a common theme I talk about is the bond producers, brosnan and craig may get the treated the same, I find that relevent, I'm sorry if I'm spoiling the party, but we all have our ideas about the past. present and future of Bond.
It can be annoying ,I find some posts annoying, but I don't tell people to stop, because that's their opinon, and millions others who have views on bond that are different.
Happy New year in advance, and hopefully a year where I get prove wrong about the future of Bond lol. But the bond producers I guess I'll always dislike, wasted time, should of saw Bond 21 out in cinemas last month and looking forward to a new bond actor and film in 2007, but they had to mess up the fanchise. But considering how it's been going, better then other fanchises, but proper care and control has been lazy so far in the 21st century, and there so tightly controlled of the series, there not letting anyone in with new ideas, fresh ideas, they partly have interfered with the story telling.
Craig maybe a victim of their tightly controlled Bond era, there still afraid to do what it takes to do a hard hitting Bond film, a film worthy of casino royal's story.
