Daniel Craig's Christian name has more letters than his surname, a characteristic shared only by Timothy Dalton. And since Rolling Stone magazine declared that Timothy Dalton was genetically engineered to play Bond, Daniel Craig must have been born to be Bond!

Daniel Craig is the first and only actor since Sean Connery to be in his 30s, and since everybody and their mother knows Connery was the best Bond, and since the literary Bond was also in his 30s, and since Craig is the only Bond to be in his late 30s, let alone 38, the exact same age deduced to be that of the literary Bond, a claim that not even Connery could honestly make, not only did author Ian Fleming clearly intend for Connery to play Bond, but for Craig to star in a post-Cold War remake of Casino Royale, therefore Craig must have been born to be Bond!

In 2001, Daniel Craig played Guy Crouchback in Sword Of Honour. In 1967, Edward Woodward played Guy Crouchback in ‘Sword Of Honour’ also starring James Villiers who played Bill Tanner in For Your Eyes Only. Woodward’s Next Project was in ‘The Saint’ with Roger Moore and Woodward is currently working on Hot Fuzz (it’s a movie) with Timothy Dalton.

Daniel Craig said in an interview in December that is favourite moment in a Bond movie was when Roger Moore dressed up as a gorilla in Octopussy. It stuck with him, until it became time for his interview for the role of 007.

Pierce is a fantastic edition to the franchise, he braught bond into the 90s and pushed the franchise on with 4 sucessfully grossing movies he was a brilliant bond and left at just the right time IMO. Craig hopefully will bring 007 into the 21st century with a Bang and yes like pierce he was born to play Bond
